Standard Consultations*
Medicare: First half hour is bulk billed
$50 per each subsequent half hour (or part thereof)
DVA: bulk billed for all standard services
Telehealth Consultations*
Telehealth consultations are available and can be booked when making your appointment.
Fees and charges are applicable per standard consultations
Your referral MUST be supplied at least 48 hours prior to your telehealth appointment.
Specialist Clinic Services
The following Specialist Clinic Services attract fees according to the complexity of your needs.
The cost of specialist services will be discussed at your initial consultation. Some services are eligible for rebates from Medicare, DVA or your private health fund.
- Insulin pump training
- Continuous Glucose Monitoring
- Home Visits
- Group Education
- Residential Aged Care (for those living in supported accommodation)
Private Health Insurance
Access to rebates from your health fund depend on your policy and the items your fund decides to subsidise.
Please contact your health insurer to confirm access to rebates for diabetes education and for nursing services. We cannot advise you whether your health insurance product is eligible for a rebate.
You will need to advise your clinician of the paperwork you require to access your rebate.
Private Consultations
A private consultation occurs when a referral is not available. This means the cost of the consultation is your responsibility.
Fees are payable at the time of your consultation:
- Initial Consultation $125.00 (maximum of 60 minutes)
- subsequent consultation $75.00 (maximum of 30 minutes)
Health Professional Education
Price on application
We provide education to health care professionals in the workplace setting. The cost to attend your workplace and provide education is dependant on your needs.

Payment
Payment is required at the time of consultation
Payment is accepted in cash or via eftpos.
Appointment terms and conditions*
Cancellations:
We understand that things change, and you can’t always make a planned appointment. We appreciate a call if you are unable to make your appointment. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so that we can offer your appointment to someone on our waiting list.
Failure to Attend:
Fees are payable if you fail to attend your appointment without calling to let us know.
A fee equivalent to half of the usual consultation fee will be billed and is payable within 14 days of the date on your invoice.
Telehealth appointments:
A referral must be supplied to confirm your telehealth consultation. We will contact you once to remind you. If you do not supply a referral in time, you will forfeit your appointment.
If we are unable to reach you at the time of your appointment we will try once more. If we cannot reach you on the second attempt you will be charged a fee for failure to attend.
